5 Types of Items You Can Consign Through IBID

their condition is still good enough, those items will surely sell fast.

There is no need to worry about how to sell them. You can now consign your items through an auction. One of the preferred auction houses for this is IBID. At IBID, you can consign almost anything, from automotive and electronics to lifestyle products. Discover 5 types of items you can consign at IBID below.

1. Used Cars

IBID is an excellent option if you’re looking to sell a used car quickly. You can auction off various brands and types of cars, including passenger vehicles, commercial or operational ones (minivans, buses, pickups, etc.), and even salvage cars.

Before the auction, each car undergoes an inspection by the Astra Car Valuation (ACV) team to accurately assess its condition and set an estimated base price. The inspection results are then presented with a grade score from A to E.

2. Used Motorcycles

Besides cars, you can sell used motorcycles through IBID. This covers various types, including underbone bikes, scooters, off-road motorcycles, sport bikes, and electric motorcycles. Similar to cars, used motorcycles are first inspected to evaluate their condition and determine the starting price.

3. Lifestyle Products

Among the non-automotive categories available at IBID are lifestyle products. A wide variety of lifestyle items can be sold, including laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, electronics, cameras, and fashion items.

While lifestyle products don’t receive an inspection grade like vehicles do, these auction items still come with a description of their condition. For company-owned products, you can also sell them in bulk.

4. Heavy Equipment

IBID also accepts heavy equipment, such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, rotavators, generator sets, and disc ploughs. They can be auctioned as complete units or just their parts, sold either individually or in bulk.

Consigned units don’t have to be brought to the IBID auction venue. Instead, they can stay at the consignor’s location. It’s certainly a practical and efficient way to save money.

5. Scrap Materials

IBID also accepts scrap materials and unused office items, such as metal, plastic, wood, machinery, and even demolition debris.

Just like heavy equipment, consigned scrap materials don’t need to be transported to an IBID auction venue and can still be auctioned from the consignor’s site.
