The second type is called dropshipping. In dropshipping, a seller does not keep an inventory of products they list for sale. Instead, they will forward the orders to the supplier or directly to the manufacturer.
The supplier or manufacturer will then send the requested products to the customers. Many businesses on e-commerce platforms opt for this shipping method.
For the record, shipping has not been without its problems for many businesses. Shipping problems have resulted in conflicts between courier services and customers and, as a result, impacted the business process.
