Mudik Traffic Readiness: SERA and Imani Care Train Scouts for Emergency Response

In line with its commitment to safety and social responsibility, Serasi Autoraya (SERA) conducted a safety and emergency response training session through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team on Saturday, 22 March 2025. This activity targeted members of the Scout District Council throughout Tangerang City and was held in a meeting hall within the Tangerang area.

The training was attended by dozens of participants from various Scout units. They received training on basic safety procedures, emergency response, as well as evacuation and first aid simulations. All training materials were delivered by an experienced team of instructors from SERA and Imani Care, a social organization focused on humanitarian work.

As a point of information, the Scout District Council is the local Scout organization at the subdistrict level, operating under the coordination of the Scout Regency Council of Tangerang City. This council plays an important role in guiding and developing the Scout Movement at the local level. The council conducts training, social activities, and character-building among the younger generation.

“This training is part of our efforts to educate the community, especially the younger generation, to be better prepared to face emergency situations that can occur anytime and anywhere,” said Agus Supriyadi, Head of the Health, Safety, Environment System and Compliance Management Department at SERA.

In addition to the theory sessions, participants also took part in field practice covering techniques for extinguishing small fires, evacuating victims, and treating minor injuries. The training was conducted in an interactive atmosphere, filled with enthusiasm and high spirit from the participants.

The participants were also prepared to serve the community through the Eid Service Activities, which lasted 10 days, starting 7 days before Eid (D-7) and continuing until 3 days after Eid (D+3). In this activity, they will be assigned to assist in regulating the Eid holiday homecoming and return traffic (arus balik dan arus mudik)by participating in post operations, in collaboration with the Tangerang City District Police, Tangerang Community Health Center, and the Tangerang City Transportation Office.
