IBID Inaugurates New Office as Integrated Automotive Auction Center in Jakarta

On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID), a subsidiary of Serasi Autoraya (SERA) under the Astra Group, officially opened its new headquarters located at Jl. Raya Bogor KM 27, East Jakarta. This inauguration marks a strategic step for IBID to consolidate its position as a leading auction house in Indonesia, particularly in providing more modern, efficient, and integrated automotive auction services. 

This new facility, situated on a two-hectare plot, is designed as IBID Jakarta’s Automotive Auction Center. It features a vehicle inspection area, a storage area with a 2.5 times greater capacity, an auction hall, and a more representative operational office. With a massive capacity, this new office enables IBID to scale up its auctions, accelerate unit distribution processes, and provide a more comfortable auction experience for participants, both individual and corporate.

In his remarks, the President Director of IBID, Daddy Doxa Manurung, stated, “Our new headquarters is not only about a more modern facility. This relocation represents IBID’s readiness to accommodate business growth and respond to market demands. It reflects our commitment to continuously growing and delivering greater added value to all IBID customers,” said Doxa.

On this occasion, IBID also introduced newly developed services, including non-automotive auctions that now include heavy equipment, scraps, and lifestyle goods. In addition, IBID continues to improve its digital services through its official app and website, while also establishing strategic partnerships with financing institutions to offer installment payment options for buyers.

With the inauguration of this new office, IBID is optimistic that it can continuously drive the growth of the auction industry in Indonesia and strengthen customer trust through transparent, secure, and accessible services from anywhere.
