SERA Group Celebrates 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence

Serasi Autoraya (SERA) and its subsidiaries celebrated Indonesia’s 80th anniversary of independence with great enthusiasm and gratitude. Flag-raising ceremonies were held simultaneously at the Head Office and all business units on Sunday, August 17, 2025, and were attended by the respective boards of directors and employees. The ceremonies took place with solemnity as the red and white flag of Indonesia was hoisted, a symbol of unity and nationality. The ceremonies were the culmination of a series of events commemorating Independence Day, which took place in August within SERA.

With the national theme of “United and Sovereign, Prosperous People, Advanced Indonesia,” the spirit of independence manifested in exciting and inspiring activities that all employees could partake in. These include CERDIK (Cerdas Cermat Digital Kemerdekaan), a digital independence day quiz that tested the contestants’ knowledge on general topics, the history of Indonesia’s independence, and SERA. There was also GASPOL (Gelora Aksi Semangat Patriot Online), an online patriotic action competition that showcased a team’s solidarity and creativity in making jingles and chants. Specifically, at the Head Office, the Culture Race competition concluded this series of events. A team competition with the theme of SERA spirit, it required the participants to complete various missions through collaboration, shrewdness, and team strategy. Such an event not only cultivated joy but also strengthened the solidarity and teamwork in the company.

The celebration of Indonesia’s independence is an important occasion for everyone at SERA to strengthen their sense of togetherness, teamwork, and love of the homeland, as well as to foster their sense of pride as part of SERA. This occasion serves as a reminder that every contribution they make is of great significance for the nation’s advancement and the independence that must be upheld together.
