Serasi Autoraya (SERA) has obtained the latest edition of ISO 9001:2015 certificate from TUV Rheinland Indonesia for TRAC business unit and all its branches across Indonesia. The achievement is a very importantsource of pride for SERA. As cited from Lloyd's Register LRQA website,according to Harvard Business School Associate Professor Mike Toffell, the businesses that obtain ISO 9001 have high sustainability and increasing sales and growth. This is in line with SERA’s goal for continuous growth and advancement. For your information, ISO is a non-governmental organization tasked to develop and set up commercial and industrial accreditation standard. Since its establishment in 1947, ISO has been the world's most prominent international standard until today. ISO 9001 evaluates requirements for quality management system instead of quality of products. Quality management system is measured by its ability to fulfill demands, consistency in product and service, and continuous improvement. There are some differences between the latest ISO 9001 and ISO 9001:2008 which was also obtained by SERA previously.  In ISO 9001:2015, organizations are required to address internal and external issues in doing business. Internal issues include employees' knowledge, job performance, and infrastructure. Meanwhile, external issues consist of technological advancement, business competition, market, as well as social and economic condition. ISO 2015 version also dictates companies to pay attention to the needs of customers and other stakeholders such as suppliers, employees, and parent company. SERA have gained more confidence through this latest ISO certificate. This achievement will motivate SERA in maintaining the quality of its performanceto satisfy loyalcustomers and stakeholders.
