Makassar – Rappocini Dance Studio under the fostering of TRAC Makassar successfully won third place in general category in South Sulawesi Art Festival held by Makassaradministration on Saturday (August 11). This competition was joined by dance studios in Makassar and its surrounding areas. This achievement is an improvement from last year’s achievement, when the studio had to be satisfied with the fourth place in the same event.In this year’s competition, RappociniDance Studio performed Masannang dance, a traditional dance from Tana Toraja. This dance studio, fostered by TRAC Makassar, is a platform for local prospective artists, especially in the field of art and culture of Makassar Buginese people. RappociniDance Studio is located in Kampung Berseri Astra Makassar area, to be exact at Rappocini Raya Street Lr 3A, RT 003 RW 001, Rappocini administrative village, Rappocini district, Makassar, South Sulawesi. The concrete form of TRAC Makassar’s supportin the event was assistance during practice and preparation for the competition. Moreover, TRAChelped to provide the properties needed, such as costumes, Buginese accessories, and supporting musical instruments so that Rappocini Dance Studio could perform their best. This effort that resulted in achievement certainly makes us proud. This achievement also strengthens the commitment of PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA) through TRAC to keep contributing positively to the preservation of traditional art and culture. This goal is in line with the company’s community empowerment pillar. We hope that this effort can bring goodness to Indonesian people.
