Continuous innovation is already like the air that SERA and its group breathe. Especially in this digital era, innovation is inevitable for any company, including SERA. To answer the challenge to continuously innovate, one of SERA’s business units, IBID-Balai Lelang Serasi (IBID), managed to achieve an astonishing feat in 35th INNOVASTRA by winning the first place in Non-Technical QCC category. This achievement is not an easy thing to do. IBID must undergo a long process that was full of struggles, because the ideas submitted for internal improvement of SERA can number in the hundreds. IBID managed to do improvement with the proposal titled “Digitalizing closed auction process with i-secret bidders as a control to improve the success and the effectivity of closed auction in IBID Balikpapan”. Beginning the achievement as a finalist in the internal event 1st Pre-Owned Car Sales Quality Convention 2018, IBID managed to bag the first place in QCC category. The next achievement was winning the Best Non-Technical QCC in the event 12th SERA Quality Convention 2018. Finally, the peak achievement was IBID, representing SERA in INNOVASTRA, winning the first place. This achievement certainly inspires all SERA business units to continue innovating in various aspects. This is in line with one of SERA Spirit concepts, which is Quality, with the hope that SERA can become a more useful company for the nation of Indonesia.
