To celebrate its 39th anniversary, TRAC, one of the business lines of PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA), collaborated with Rumah Batik Palbatu (RBP) and Pasar Rebo District Office to host a hand-drawn batik workshop on October 25, 2025.

The activity was attended by 50 Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) cadres from five sub-districts: Pekayon, Gedong, Baru, Cijantung, and Kalisari. Their participation reflected the residents’ enthusiasm for developing creative skills to be practiced in the future.

During the workshop, participants were guided by an instructor and SERA CSR Supervisor, Ridwan Ika, in practicing hand-drawn batik techniques.

They were also introduced to dyes made from mangrove waste extracts, an innovation that brings an environmentally friendly approach to the batik-making process.

This initiative received appreciation from Pasar Rebo District Head, Mujiono, S.Pd., M.Hum., who considered the program relevant to efforts in increasing community income through entrepreneurship.

Agus Supriyadi, SERA HSE System & Compliance Department Head, emphasized that the program aligns with two pillars of TRAC’s CSR: Environment and Community Empowerment.

In addition, the program supports the achievement of the 4th and 8th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education and Decent Work & Economic Growth. 

“In celebrating TRAC’s 39th anniversary, investing in women’s empowerment and environmental preservation has become one of our main programs and a tangible manifestation of our commitment to supporting a greener and more skilled future for Indonesia,” said Happy Putro Wibowo, SERA Corporate General Affairs, Social Responsibility & HSSE Division Head.

Through this initiative, TRAC reaffirmed its commitment to embedding sustainability values into its social activities, while ensuring that the 39th anniversary celebration delivers meaningful benefits to both society and the environment.
