SERA Strengthens Ambulance Drivers’ Competencies in Partnership with Imani Care

This event aimed to equip drivers with safe driving skills and emergency response capabilities to improve the quality of emergency services.
Safety is a critical aspect of every ambulance service. As the first line of defense in emergency response, ambulance drivers must not only be skilled at operating the vehicle but also capable of making quick and accurate decisions in critical situations.
To support this readiness, PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA) collaborated with Imani Care to hold an Ambulance Driver Training on July 3, 2026, at the Astra Biz Center in Bandung, West Java.
This event aimed to equip drivers with safe driving skills and emergency response capabilities to improve the quality of emergency services.
The training was structured as a hands-on session combining defensive driving and basic life support instruction.
During the defensive driving session, participants learned techniques for safely operating emergency vehicles, ranging from space management and speed control to risk mitigation in various traffic conditions.
Participants also received training in basic life support, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking management. Through these simulations, drivers are expected to be able to provide first aid quickly and appropriately before patients receive further medical treatment.
“Patient safety is the top priority in every ambulance service. Through this collaboration, we hope that drivers will not only possess safe driving skills but also be prepared to handle emergency situations,” explained SERA CSR Supervisor Ridwan Ika.
Through this collaboration with Imani Care, SERA hopes this training will enhance the competence of ambulance drivers while supporting the creation of emergency services that are safer, more responsive, and focused on patient safety.
