SERA Commemorates the 77th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence

On the 77th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s independence on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA) along with all of its subsidiaries joined in the national commemoration of the independence by holding a flag hoisting ceremony at each unit’s office, including at SERA Group’s head office, Grha SERA. The ceremonies took place offline with limited numbers of attendees, while the ceremony organized by Astra Group could also be joined by every member of SERA via live streaming on Astra’s YouTube Channel. 

Meanwhile, 73 invitees attended the ceremony at Grha SERA. Strict health guidelines were implemented during the event—attendees were required to wear a mask and keep a distance from each other.  Held from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., the event marked the peak of all SERA Group’s commemoration activities for the 77th Indonesia’s independence anniversary. 

The group’s commemoration activities were started off with various pre-event activities—teamwork challenges and quiz show, where everyone at SERA could join. The teamwork challenges were in the form of internal competitions centered around togetherness and independence, ranging from office decoration photo/video competition and uniform contest to video competition on sense of unity, encouraging each competing team’s submission to SERA’s social media accounts. Taking place online, the quiz show asked participants questions about Indonesia’s history and culture and tested their general knowledge of Astra and SERA. 

All the activities aimed to foster employee engagement and patriotism in every member of SERA.
